I really like it!
This is Amazing and I’ve played so many rounds that I’ve forgotten to check the number of them I’ve been so caught up. Of course, this is perfect for the newbie & showing directions of your stone to help you think it through is beyond helpful. Live this! How long have I been blind to it being here?
A few simple options/preferences would significantly improve gameplay: 1. Need an option to turn off the dizzying angled view and look at the board directly. Just a simple top-down 2D layout, which should be easy for the devs considering they have already incorporated an augmented reality feature to show the board on your table using your phone’s camera. 2. This game is BEGGING to be vertical instead of horizontal. Board in middle, tiles on the bottom, settings and stuff on top. This would make it possible to play with one hand, and in my opinion, make it significantly more enjoyable. 3. The rules of Tsuro only allow you to place a tile in one location - in front of your stone. So why do I have to drag the tile into position every time I play one, when all that’s needed is a “play tile” button? If you drag and drop slightly in the wrong location, try again! 4. NEED an option to turn off animations. I’m playing the game to actually play Tsuro, not to watch a bunch of cutscenes. I understand they want to prioritize aesthetics, but they’ve sacrificed playability to the point where I just can’t play it. Classic example of trying too hard.
I am addicted to this game. Get it. Developers: for the love of all that is holy, on the next version include the 36th tile! How many games end up with a dissatisfying ending because the last piece is missing? Major oversight in game development.
Very good. Game time can be quick played solo and long depending on the amount playing. Some AP could be a problem if not played solo. The game can be taught to any age under a minute.
Love this game and I’ve been playing it for years. Enjoy!
Very skeptical, my partner and I were looking for a nice game we could play on a low key night and this game really entertained us for over 2 hours. Definitely recommend playing on different modes
Would have been 4 stars, but achievements fail to register in Game Center, even though it connects.
It’s super easy to learn, and very satisfying to play. Genuinely good port. Ok, the pieces tend to clump starting position more than happens in real life, but that’s not a big drawback.
This game is so addictive! Love it! I also love that it’s strategic. Makes you think.
My new addiction, a game that is incredible easy to learn, but very deep in strategy. A very calming game when I am stressed.
Excellent implementation of a simple yet amusing game. As others have noted, Tsuro isn’t a terribly “deep” game, but this app captures the graphic elegance and turn-based play style with appropriate animations and prompts to make the experience enjoyable. Computer opponents as well as online play are offered. The only suggestion being there should be a better way to review the ending board and perhaps allow some what-if tracing of paths.
It’s a fun game and the solo playing is great, but I am unable to connect with my friends on iCloud. I looked in my settings and it does not show this app as using iCloud maybe that’s why I keep getting a server timed out message.
While the board game is fun, it has some limitations. The digital app keeps you from making errors by letting you know that your move is illegal. You don’t lose any of the pieces.
Keeps the mind busy
Very clunky animations and the game crashes a lot.
App is very true to the board game, recommended
I love this game! So relaxing and fun! Have already recommended it to a friend!!
I’m quite enjoying this game. So many possibilities.
I wish I didn’t buy it. It’s either you play alone or through Facebook (and I don’t have an account). They have to mention it in the description. So disappointed!
This is one of my favorite (simple) games ever. Glad to have found a digital version.
Found this fun game in the Metaverse and wanted more time to play. Will be getting the board game version as well. Fun on all platforms. Solo, or w friends in person or online. I’m a big fan of Lanterns too. Nice esthetic. Never the same game twice.
So good. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The game is great but the app is a little buggy
I have no idea why tabletop mode doesn’t simply allow one to set the device on top of a table. Mine flickers and scans helplessly and says no table can be found. Is this necessary? I could do that myself. It’s a fine game, but a fail as a multiplayer game for travel.
Lots of fun solo or with friends
So nice to have a two player game on my phone. It’s the perfect mix of easy and interesting.
There was a point where the game seemed to argue with me and not allow me o place the tile that I wanted. So I deleted and reinstalled the game.
Its been over 30 min and i cant find players
Great update!!
Recently purchased the board game, the family loves it!
Nice relaxing game It took me a minute to figure out how to play against computer though FYI!
Hi there, I really like Tsuro. I don’t have any problems, and I love that this game can be played anywhere, and with anyone. I have no issues, and this app deserves 5 stars!
Love it
Love this game
Fun game
Thunderbox is awesome. They make the best games.
Tsuro was really fun I was up late playing it
AAA+++ ..... great for my brain and lots of fun too!
Strategy only occurs at end of game. Random in early stages. Nothing here to keep my attention.
Setting the colors of the pieces does not work.
The game design and flow are beautiful. The “cloud experience” with playing online feels glitchy, requiring many reconnections. It would be nice to have a vertical down view of the game board option, rather than just diagonally above, because the tiles in the upper rear area can be hard to see, particularly on a smaller screen and because the contrast between tile background and paths is not great. Overall, however, a great game.
Love the board game...Love the app
I love this game because it gives the option of multiplayer. Countless nights I have played this with friends. The game is beautiful, with smooth graphics and extreme detail. Sound and music is incredible. The overall game is extremely fun, and very easy to look at.
A great digital copy of the board game
Good
Games that have an unpredictability of how the game board is created and have strategy in placement. Making you think ahead are always fun games. The replay ability is awesome and fast quick games are always nice! Great game. Wish you could shift or rotate the entire game board when placing the tiles at the very far edge on board. I do like how you can see the layout of the track before placing the tile though. Also it would be nice to continue to play a computer instead of your ghost. But it’s still an amazing game. Thanks!
I am going to start out by saying this game is a fun game. I played the real game at a friends house and loved it so I bought it on the App Store. I really like it and recommend it.
I’ve owned the physical board game for years, and this is an excellent implementation! It breathes new life into a classic game.
